Melissa has a Ph.D. in public policy and econometrics and holds the Professional Statistician (PStat) certification from the American Statistical Association.
Melissa is fanatical about finding meaning in data and seeing organizations make data-driven decisions that forward their missions. She’s done this in the nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors, and within litigation settings.
She previously held faculty positions at Arizona State University in the Schools of Public Affairs and Sustainability, Allegheny College, and a Fulbright professorship at the Universität Duisburg-Essen in Germany.
